Use the Copilot from your CRM
When your CRM has an Evergrowth Copilot link on a contact record, clicking it opens that contact’s Digital twin chat in the workspace, so you can ask questions and draft outreach without first searching for the contact by hand. This is the fastest way to jump from a record you are already looking at in the CRM straight into the contact’s Digital twin.
The link points at a dedicated Copilot address that carries the contact’s identifier. When you open it, the workspace resolves the contact and sends you to the contact detail page with the Digital twin tab already selected. You stay on the same contact you clicked in the CRM.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need a workspace sign-in. If you are not signed in, opening the link takes you through sign-in first. See Sign in.
- The link works for people who can take action in the workspace. If your access is view-only, the Copilot link shows a “Page Not Found” message instead of opening the chat.
- The contact must support a Digital twin. If it does not, the workspace shows a message that a Digital twin cannot be created for that contact and sends you to the contact instead. On the contact, the Digital twin tab stays unavailable until a Digital twin can be generated for that contact.
- In your CRM, open the contact record and click the Evergrowth Copilot link.
- If you are not already signed in, complete sign-in. The workspace then resolves the contact from the link.
- The workspace opens the contact detail page on the Digital twin tab. You see the contact’s name and job title at the top, with the same tabs you would see if you had opened the contact from inside the workspace.
- If the Digital twin is still being prepared, the chat shows a short status: Initializing contact, then Enriching contact. It refreshes on its own when the contact is ready, so you do not need to reload.
- Once it is ready, the chat greets you as the contact’s Digital twin and invites you to ask a question. Type in the Type a message… box and press Enter to send.
- To reuse a saved prompt, click the add button to the left of the message box. It opens two tabs: Default commands (your team’s shared prompt presets) and Plays (your saved plays). Pick one to drop its text into the message box, then edit and send.
If the chat ever shows an error screen, you can click Restart chat to start the conversation over. A chat that is marked This chat is read-only or This chat is closed can be read but not added to.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The Digital twin responds in the chat, and the conversation is saved on that contact’s Digital twin tab. Anything you ask or generate here stays tied to the same contact, so you can return to it later from inside the workspace by opening the contact and selecting Digital twin, with no need to go back through the CRM link.
If the link was an older style of Copilot link that is no longer supported, the workspace tells you that old Copilots are no longer supported and asks you to create a contact to run the Digital twin, then sends you to your contacts list. From there you can open the right contact and use its Digital twin tab directly.
Eva note: the Copilot link is the customer-facing name for the deep link a connected CRM places on a contact. View-only access cannot open it (the workspace returns a “Page Not Found” page). A supported link resolves the contact and opens its Digital twin chat directly; an older, unsupported link returns the customer to their contacts list with a note to create a contact first. “Digital twin” is the customer term for that chat tab.
